Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two brings Mickey Mouse and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit together in a colourful co-op adventure set in the twisted world of Wasteland - a land populated by forgotten Disney characters, crumbling cartoon environments, and a whole lot of Disney history to explore.

The story picks up with Wasteland being torn apart by a series of mysterious earthquakes, and it falls to Mickey and Oswald to uncover the truth and save their world. Mickey wields his iconic magical paintbrush - using paint to restore and repair the environment, or thinner to dissolve it - while Oswald brings his own bag of tricks including a boomerang, a remote control, and the ability to use his ears as helicopter blades to hover and glide across gaps. The two characters complement each other well, with puzzles designed around using both sets of abilities in tandem.

The game really shines in co-op, where a second player takes control of Oswald and the adventure becomes a genuinely fun and cooperative experience. Choices made throughout the game - whether to paint or thin, repair or destroy - can subtly influence the story, adding some replay value for those who want to explore different outcomes. The world itself is a rich love letter to Disney history, packed with recognisable characters, gorgeous cartoon-coloured backdrops, animated cutscenes, and a charming soundtrack of original musical numbers performed by the cast.
