Each event in International Track & Field requires players to press specific buttons as fast as possible or string together a combination in the more delicate events. Athletes can be selected from Great Britain, Australia, France, Russia, Germany, USA, China, Cuba, Korea, Canada, Japan, and Kenya.

You can also choose from either Arcade play or Challenge with the latter offering a chance to break records, while Arcade proves more popular with those seeking more personal competition. Events include the men's 100m run, men's long jump, men's pole vault, men's hammer throw, men's javelin, men's clean & jerk weightlifting, women's diving springboard, men's one kilometer cycling time trial, men's cycling sprint, women's gymnastics horse vault, the women's 50m freestyle, and canoeing.
