The game rules are very clear. Each player has a set number of cards all of which are described with different statistics dependant on the theme. The winner is the player whose card has the highest value of the given parameter (e.g. engine capacity, in the motor themed deck). Just as the title may suggest, there are two types of decks - Dogs and Dinosaurs.

You are offered quite a wide selection of game modes. Quick Start lets you play a quick game without having to care about setting any options. You can also take part in single battles, either solo or against other players. Two other modes are: Quiz, which sets before you a series of multiple choice questions, and Tournament Mode, where you take part in more complex duels and take on increasingly difficult challenges.

Just as in the first game, collecting cards is an important feature. This way you try to get the best deck possible, so as to increase your chances of winning. As we already mentioned, both types of cards have different statistics, e.g. the weight of a given animal. Therefore, you have to think carefully before picking the parameters to compare. You can also discover secret cards of a great value. Many of these items, including medals and other trophies, can be unlocked as rewards for winning tournaments.
