The story is set in the year 10191, a time when the Houses of Atreides and Harkonnen fight for ultimate control of the sandy planet, Arrakis. Unfortunately, the substance is in high demand, which has led to this unfortunate war. As Paul, the son of the Duke of Atreides (and rightful heir to the throne), you'll need to join forces with the native Fremen and conquer the armies of the evil Baron Harkonnen once and for all, avenging the massacre of the Atreides. You'll be accompanied by dozens of noble, nomadic Fremen warriors in your attempt to return the land of Arrakis to a state of healthy fertility.

During the two years you will spend among the Fremen as Paul, you must earn their trust and demonstrate your strength and courage in order to become their long-prophesied messiah, Muad'Dib. As their savior, free the Fremen from the hardships of the desolate conditions on the planet they call home.
