Robin Hood's Quest is a budget stealth puzzle adventure on PS2 that takes a distinctly unconventional approach to the legendary outlaw's story. Rather than the archery and sword-fighting action you might expect, this is a slow, methodical game built around sneaking, trickery, and item-swapping puzzles through the forests and castle of Nottingham.

With his bow lost, Robin must use cunning and stealth alone to evade the Sheriff's guards, rescue Marian, and outwit the forces of Nottingham through creative use of the environment. Each level is structured as a maze-like forest or castle area, where you use stealth, agility, and a whistle to distract and sneak past guards without being caught. The focus is firmly on patience and observation rather than action - timing your movements between patrol patterns and using the environment cleverly to progress.

Two-player co-op lets a second player join as Will Scarlett, tackling the adventure together and sharing the sneaking duties across the enchanting forest, orchard, and castle environments. The game spans a variety of locations all governed by the wicked Sheriff of Nottingham, and the simple, colourful art style gives the game a gentle, storybook aesthetic appropriate for younger players.
