You are Sir Dan, a recently reincarnated knight who has lost all that unsightly flesh i.e., you're a skeleton and you must battle the evil sorcerer Zarok and his battalions of undead monsters. To combat these baddies, you have your trusty sword, an axe, and a bow that shoots flaming arrows at the ready. But this game is more than just hack-and-slash action; each level has unique puzzles that differ from stage to stage, giving a nice degree of variety to the title. Also, once a certain number of enemies are dispatched, you can gather up a chalice that gives you access to the Hall of Heroes, a place where heroic ghosts distribute special weapons or items with each visit. Of course, these visits are usually accompanied by a verbal chastising at your unworthy status as the champion of Gallowmere. And while this game has plenty of action, it is also filled with bright and colourful graphics, and has a light feel that will appeal to younger gamers.

Based on the Casper film, the game pits you in the role of the friendly ghost trying to make a friend and a second chance at life instead of scaring everyone away.

The plot centers around the ""spoiled, grasping inheritor of Whipstaff Manor"" - Carrigan Crittenden. She's after the treasure she thinks is hidden in the walls. Casper will need the help of Dr James Harvey - therapist to the dead - if he has any hope of succeeding in his adventures.

Casper will also have to deal with his uncles - Stretch, Stinkie and Fatso, who just love to scare ""Fleshies"" and thwart Casper's efforts. The gameplay is 3d - and is mostly puzzle solving, with Casper able to take a variety of forms and manipulating objects.

Casper is on a mission, and he must explore Whipstaff Manor for clues and solve puzzles as he avoids the ghostly trio of Stinky, Stretch, and Fatso who are looking to put a stop to Casper's adventure. The game is played from an isometric perspective, which shows the rooms and hallways of the mansion in high color and detail. You'll have to search the rooms of this huge estate carefully for items such as keys and puzzle pieces that will help you unlock other sections. You can also learn new abilities and gain ghostly powers to further aid you in your adventure.

"As side-scrolling, video games go, Rayman is excellent. Take any good scroller like Donkey Kong or Pitfall, add scintillating colors, wonderfully clever gaming elements, engaging and humorous characters, terrific music, and heaps of whimsy and you have Rayman.

Essentially Rayman's role is to free the caged Electoons, little pink and yellow balls which, when freed, fly off leaving blue contrails in gratitude. Rayman travels through six fantastic, fanciful worlds on his quest, searching for six caged collections of Electoons per world. Along the way Rayman occasionally meets a friendly female fairy named Betilla, who is slowly regaining her powers as Rayman does his thing. She doles out extra, sometimes comical, powers to Rayman like helicopter ears and flying, glowing punches.

Each level is chock-a-block with bizarre and zany enemies, beautiful and incredibly imaginative scenery, and several, secret side-trips. As you complete various sections, and gain more powers, you can click on a map and return to previously played levels and seek out those hidden goodies.

Armored Core is the first installment of the mecha battle game series by FromSoftware, later responsible for creating the famous Dark Souls series.

You are part of Raven Squadron, an elite group of mercenaries whose main weapons are gigantic humanoid mechs called Cores. Fight for the best price in 45 story missions and 2-player multiplay.

Developed by From Software, Armored Core was a decent mech simulator that attempted to balance the grit of western mech titles such as Mechwarrior with the panache of eastern titles such as Gundam.

The story is based after a near apocalyptic war known as the "Great Destruction" which has forced the remaining human population underground. Your character is part of the mercenary group Raven's nest, an impartial organisation whose members take on any job for the right price with the use of Armored Cores, the titular mechs of the game.

One of the unique features of this game that was fairly original for the time was its garage system, which allowed you to design your very own mech. The parts available to begin with are basic but through earning money by completing contracts from organisations (missions in game) you will be able to upgrade your machine by purchasing new parts.

The garage allows you to customise what type of Armored Core (AC) you wish to pilot. This allows you to customise the shape, armament and specs of the machine. You can choose from head, core (body), arms and legs parts, each with its own strength and weaknesses.

The control is definitely a plus of this game -- the left stick on the pad controls the movement of the main character, the right stick operates the chosen weapon or tool and points it in whichever direction you choose. Extensive use of the two sticks is necessary throughout the game for everything from swimming to rowing a boat.

After arriving at the monastery, Koudelka meets Edward Plunkett, who is there looking for girls and treasure, and Father James O'Flaherty, who is looking for an item stolen from the Vatican. The three intrepid travelers must explore the monastery and uncover an evil plot that involves black magic and witchcraft. While working their way through the monastery, the party must search for weapons, armor, and other useful items as they encounter enemies. Since there are no shops, salvaging items from monsters is the key to success. As the game progresses, stunning full-motion video sequences will reveal the twists and turns of the plot.
