Ghost Recon lets the player lead an elite team of U.S. Army Special Forces through the deadly realism of tomorrows battlefields. Outnumbered and outgunned, this Green Beret team, nicknamed the Ghosts, uses the latest technology and tactics to conquer the battlefield, swiftly, silently and invisibly.

You control a six-man squad, divided into two teams, and you have the opportunity to handpick your squad members (and their equipment) after each mission briefing. You can switch your point of view to any of the six active soldiers - the soldier you control automatically becomes the leader of his team, while the other team operates according to orders you give via a map interface. Thus, you can move one team into a covering position, leave them with orders to provide cover fire, then lead the other team in to reach your objective. Or, break up your squad and try to achieve two objectives simultaneously.

The level of detail and realism is incredible, right down to the way the soldiers communicate in hushed tones and with gestures. The complexity of the game requires an elaborate controller setup that takes a while to get used to (luckily there are plenty of training missions designed to help you learn the multitude of movement, weapons, and command functions). Once you get the hang of it, you'll find it's worth the time spent in boot camp.

The game opens with two sides fighting each other; the Republic and the Sith, an imperial power that's trying to take over Republic space. As the game begins, your spaceship is attacked and destroyed. You manage to escape to the pod, but the pod lands on a planet that's under Sith control, so you must find a way to escape.

Throughout the game, you will visit many Star Wars locations that you'll recognize from the movies, such as Kashyyyk, the homeworld of the Wookiee, and the desert planet of Tatooine.

During your adventure, you will do various tasks. Some of these include investigating murders, taking up bounties, and find a cure for a vicious disease that is killing people left and right.

Eventually, you will have to train at the Jedi academy to earn your lightsaber and your force moves. Force powers at your disposal are your basic force stun, which stuns opponents, force pull, which pulls opponents or objects toward you, and the Jedi Mind Trick, which persuades people to see things as you do.

Knights of the Old Republic uses the Star Wars D20 rule system which is similar to the 3rd Edition Dungeons & Dragons rules.

BloodWake is a fast action vehicular combat game fought with powerful boats and big guns. You play a naval lieutenant who is betrayed by an evil kingdom. With the help of an outlaw band of sea-raiders you must overthrow the devious army and restore order to the land.

Vehicle combat games have typically made up a good chunk of any console's library, but in the case of Blood Wake, the combat is taken to an atypical arena - the sea. Set against the backdrop of an Asian-themed locale where three different groups are vying for power, Blood Wake is a gunboat combat game that features good action, great graphics, and some of the most impressive water effects ever seen in a game.

Over the course of the game you'll have access to over 10 gunboat variations, each armed to the gills with a wide variety of weapons. Though you can't choose which gunboat you'll use before a mission, the game does a nice job of giving you the boat that will best serve your purposes. Controlling the gunboats is fairly straightforward; but, since you need to contend with the physics of the water, some gamers may find the controls a little frustrating at first, especially when turning and moving forward after being stopped. Fortunately, after a few missions gamers will get their sea hands and the controls will become second nature.

Because of its fun gameplay and solid multiplayer component, fans of vehicle combat games owe it to themselves to try out Blood Wake.

To do this he'll need to rely on his natural talents, an ability to speak to the dead and the six power settings of an ancient magical lamp.

The Haunted Mansion offer gamers the chance to search out secret rooms and unlock virtual tours of the Disney ride, it also gives them an opportunity to play as a ghost, collect the death certificates of the gathered ghouls and then use them to solve the game's central murder mystery. Players will also get a chilled thrill out of battling skeletal sharks, armoured knights, gruesome bridesmaids and, of course, shambling zombies while the dulcet tones of Jenifer Tilly - who also stars in the film - guides them from one objective to the next.

Players will make their way through a banquet hall, grand ballroom, armoury, conservatory, attic, mausoleum, and more while figuring out a way to bring the restless spirits haunting each room to peace.
